EMMS was formed in 2009 by a group of eye care specialists to support the local NHS, by providing eye care in the community – helping patients get the eyecare they need, closer to home.   They started by providing a Glaucoma eye care service in the community and now provide other specialists eye care services in the community.

Although EMMS is a Nottingham based company and are invested in the area but also provide services throughout the East Midlands – as an innovator EMMS also develops and creates IT solutions to help shape how eyecare is provided in the future.
