EMMS was formed in 2009 by a group of eye care specialists to support the local NHS by providing eye care in the community – this was to help patients get the eyecare they need but closer to home and on time…   

EMMS started by providing a Glaucoma eye care service in the community but this has extended to provide other specialists eye care services in the community. 

Although EMMS is a Nottingham based company and are invested in the area, it also provides services throughout the East Midlands.

As innovators, the EMMS team also develops and creates IT solutions to help shape how eyecare is provided in the future.
