This service allows anyone to access free advice and assessment for any eye problem.

The service was orginally set up during the COVID national lockdown but has proved so sucessful that it has continued.

The service can be accessed by using the helpline, going to aboutmyeye.com where a chat service is available or presenting at a participating practice

Leciestershire was one of the first areas nationally, to implement this service and it continues to benefit patients, GP practices and NHS eye departments
