We’re working with the LRI eye clinic to provide ongoing care for those people who have glaucoma or high eye pressures – this is done in various locations around the county.

This is a new service which is just being implmented – this will help the NHS, ensure that people with glaucoma are seen at appropriate intervals and in a choice of convienent locations.

Patients are seen specialist optometrists who have undertaken extensive training in the management of glaucoma.

The locations have all the equipment that would normally be found in the eye clinic – eye pressure measurements, visual field tests, OCT scans.
